Collaboration Guidelines for ‘’

Please read the Collaboration Guidelines before using this site. Your continued use of this site indicates you have read and agreed to the Collaboration Guidelines.
1.            Purpose
‘’ is AEMO’s External Collaboration offering to the energy industry.   Its primary purpose is to provide a medium in which energy industry participants and other interested parties, can engage and collaborate on, amongst other things, industry initiatives and participate in industry working groups.
2.            Registration
By registering on this website, you agree to be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your passwords or other account information. You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your password or account information by others.
If you no longer wish to have a registered account, you many terminate your account by sending an email to.  If you no longer accept these terms and conditions, or any future modification to these terms and conditions, you must cease using this website.
If, for any reason, we believe that you have not complied with these Collaboration Guidelines, we may, at our discretion, immediately cancel your access to the registration area of the website.
We may terminate your registered account, at our discretion, by emailing you at the address you have registered.

3.            Intellectual property rights
(a)          Existing AEMO content
AEMO, or its licensors, are the owners of all copyright and all other intellectual property rights in existing AEMO content (including text and images), unless otherwise advised.  Users may only use such content for personal use or as authorised by AEMO. Please refer to AEMO’s Copyright Permissions Notice.
(b)          User content
Subject to paragraph 3(a) and (c), you, or the owner of the content, own the copyright in the content provided to AEMO, or to an AEMO Working Group with responsibility for collaborative initiatives (‘Collaborative Working Group’), and by providing the content to AEMO or to a Collaborative Working Group, you grant AEMO and members of that Collaborative Working Group an unconditional, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully transferable, perpetual worldwide licence (or sub-licence, as applicable) to use, publish and/ or transmit that content.
(c)           New content
You acknowledge and agree that any content created by, or developed for a Collaborative Working Group, will be jointly owned by members of that Collaborative Working Group.
4.            Other information
(a)          Changes to these Collaboration Guidelines
AEMO may change these Collaboration Guidelines from time to time at our discretion, and without your consent. Any revised terms and conditions will be applicable at the time of posting on the website. Please ensure you review these Collaboration Guidelines regularly as you will be deemed to have accepted a variation if you continue to use the website after it has been posted.
(b)          No warranty
Use of any content of this website is at your risk.  AEMO does not warrant or represent that the content of this website is accurate, reliable, complete or current or that it is suitable for particular purposes.  You should verify and check the accuracy, completeness, reliability and suitability of any content from this website for any use to which you intend to put it and seek independent expert advice before using it.
(c)           Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, AEMO and its advisers, consultants and other contributors to this website (or their respective associated companies, businesses, partners, directors, officers or employees) shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, defects or misrepresentations in the content of this website, or for any loss or damage suffered by persons who use or rely on such content (including by reason of negligence, negligent misstatement or otherwise).  If any law prohibits the exclusion of such liability, AEMO’s liability is limited, at AEMO’s option, to the re-supply of the content, provided that this limitation is permitted by law and is fair and reasonable.
(d)          Viruses
AEMO does not represent or warrant that the site and any information or material contained in, downloaded or accessible from this site, is free from computer viruses (including macro viruses) or other programs that might affect software or systems of users.  Users should protect themselves by installing and implementing their own security checks and systems.
(e)          Confidentiality
Except where expressly agreed by AEMO, AEMO will not treat any communications or emails sent through this site as confidential and reserves the right to reproduce, transmit, modify and publish (in any form) such communications.
